Natural help for seborrheic dermatitis

Anya's Herbals' Beautiful Buttery Body Balm
Ever since moving back East in 2013, I've had to readjust to winter weather. Unfortunately, my skin is the canary in the coal mine when the air starts to get dry, and for the past two winters, seborrheic dermatitis has appeared around my nose and chin (and it persists for months!).

This winter, I finally found a natural cure.

First, I started slathering Anya's Herbals' Beautiful Buttery Body Balm on my face after showering in the morning and before going to bed at night. This is a heavy-duty moisturizer intended for the body, but it worked wonderfully on my face. Usually my facial skin breaks out from saturated natural oils like shea butter and coconut oil, but Anya's concoction of all-natural oils was gentle enough for my face and began to calm the patchy flakes.

Then, I hit the jackpot.

Vicks Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier
For $59.99 at my local drugstore, I bought a Vicks Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier. I am surprised to report that I LOVE it! It's whisper-quiet and super-effective: it raised the humidity in our bedroom by 25% over the course of one night!
Within a week, my dermatitis was gone. And as a side benefit, I have never slept so well! My only regret is that I didn't get one of these last winter, when I was caking on concealer every day in an unsuccessful attempt to hide my blemishes.

If you suffer from extremely dry skin, or live in a dry area, I highly recommend these two wonderful products to naturally improve the quality of your skin.

Let me know how it goes in the comments!
